My Philosophy

Frustrated users are a symptom of flawed design, not the problem itself.

I hold firm to the idea that frustration is rarely the fault of the user, but rather a symptom of a design gone wrong. When someone struggles with a product, it's a call to action for me to step back and understand their journey. By uncovering the roadblocks in their experience, I can help design interfaces that are intuitive and user-friendly.

User-centered design isn't just ethical, it's good business - creating products people love leads to loyalty and success.

I see a beautiful synergy between user-centered design and business success. Focusing on what users need and enjoy isn't just the ethical thing to do, it's smart business. When we create products that people love, we foster loyalty and drive positive outcomes for everyone involved. Happy users are not just an afterthought, they're the key to sustainable success.

We have a responsibility to design technology that empowers users, while acknowledging its power to influence our lives in return.

I believe in the profound two-way street between humans and technology. As researchers, we design tools that shape how people interact with the world. But technology also shapes us in return, influencing our behavior and habits. This realization pushes me to be a thoughtful researcher, one who considers both the potential benefits and drawbacks of the technology we bring to life.

Congratulations! You made it to the end πŸŽ‰
